Here is an Off Air Tribute To One Half of The Tali Up Boyz by Former member of the Foreign Objects, Rhythmic Freaks, Current WJYN Radio Host, Dr. Poetica Bey.
"It's deep cuz I actually thought I was going to see Mars the day that he transcended. It was a local party where a lot of us would have normally met up. One of our folks was performing. I didn't see him at the party but I got the word the next day that he was no longer a physical form...I was Stuck... All I knew is that he had music he was an artist and he was on his grind most of the time about his music." Poetica recalls.
The other member in The Tali Up Boyz, Malik Smart had already crossed over some years ago. "Mars and Malik were often my Cypher supporters... At least I could do was pay homage to his music.
